The club's first officers at the charter dinner on May 22, 1950. Rotary International had granted the charter on May 5, sponsored by the West Orange and Whippany clubs, with delegations from 21 clubs on hand. A flagpole for the First Aid Squad

The club donated a flagpole to the Livingston First Aid Squad, part of a series of gifts to the town's emergency services that began with a fire-rescue truck in 1954.
